Our story
Built out of frustration with the split
WckSoft started with a simple annoyance: every business we talked to had one company build their website and a completely different one host it. When something broke at 2am, the developer blamed the host, the host blamed the developer, and the business owner was stuck in the middle waiting for someone — anyone — to own the problem.
We name ourselves Wicked Software on purpose. "Wicked" is a compliment where we're from — it means genuinely good, done right, no shortcuts. That's the standard we hold our code, our servers, and our support to. We don't outsource hosting to a third party and we don't hand client work to a subcontractor we've never met. The same engineers who write your code configure the server it runs on and answer the phone if it goes down.
Today WckSoft is a small, deliberately-sized team. We'd rather do great work for the clients we have than grow past the point where we still know your name. If you host with us, build with us, or both, you get a direct line to the people who actually did the work — not a support queue with a ticket number.

We believe most manual, repetitive work in a business is a bug, not a fact of life. If it can be automated safely, we'll tell you.
